Accounts and workspaces
An account is yours. A workspace holds the documents, exams, questions, and classes you work on with other teachers.
Create an account
Section titled “Create an account”Open the teacher app and choose Create account.
- Enter your name, email, and a password, and agree to the terms. Or choose Continue with Google.
- If a short welcome carousel appears, Skip only leaves that introduction. It is not the teaching setup.
- If you are asked for subjects and grade bands, answer them or choose Skip for now. That choice is saved. You are not locked out of the app, and the setup wizard does not currently come back on its own.
You can reach Profile & Settings, security, support, and help even while that first question is still open.
Signing in does not require a verified email. Password reset is Forgot password on the sign-in page. If you turned on two-factor authentication, the next sign-in asks for that second step.
Workspace
Section titled “Workspace”Everything you upload or generate belongs to one workspace. The sidebar plan card and Billing & Plan describe that workspace, not a personal credit balance you can move between schools.
A teammate joins a workspace from Invitations. That is a teacher invitation. It is not a student exam link, and it is not a class roster link.
Three links that are easy to mix up
Section titled “Three links that are easy to mix up”| Link | Who it is for | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace invitation | Another teacher | Membership in your workspace |
Class join link (/join/…) | A student | Adds them to one class roster. No teacher account |
Exam share link (/take/…) | A student | Opens one exam. No account |
A class join link does not make someone a teacher. An exam share link does not add them to the roster. Details: Classes and students and Sharing and export.
Language of the app
Section titled “Language of the app”Profile & Settings → Language changes the teacher interface. It does not change the language of an uploaded PDF, and it does not add an optical-character-recognition pack. Document reading is described in Document processing.
The interface can be shown in English, Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese, Bengali, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, French, Dutch, Russian, Japanese, and Turkish. Arabic, Urdu, and Persian use a right-to-left layout.
