No. Send the link from Share. They enter a name and, if you set one, a password. See Taking an exam.

No. The share link is the access. A password is optional, and you choose it. A help screen that describes a generated 6-character code is out of date.

Five: multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, short answer, and long answer. See Exam and question generation.

Yes. On the exam you can change the wording, options, marks, and answer, remove a question, add one by hand, or ask for one more. Approve what students should see before you share.

Section titled “Why did the share link show fewer questions than the exam page?”

The link serves approved questions only. The Include draft questions switch in Share does not currently save when you copy the link. Rejected and archived questions are never sent. Approve the paper.

The student must enter the password on the exam page before questions load. A wrong password is refused. After too many wrong tries the link locks for a while. Do not put the password in the URL.

PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, PNG, and JPEG. Size and page count depend on your plan. See Document processing.

Not unless you turn on Include answer key in PDF & Print Settings. That sheet is appended to your PDF or DOCX download. It is not what students see. A separate “show answer key to students” switch reveals answers only after they submit.

Billing & Plan. Credits, storage, exports, and document limits are enforced from that plan. See Billing and credits.

Chat with Us and Community Forum only show a toast. They do not open a chat or a forum. Email Support opens a message to support@zeroexam.ai. The public contact page emails hello@zeroexam.com. A ticket created on Contact Support stays in that browser. It is not sent to a server. Do not treat the “2 hours” line as a promise.
